NATURE LOVER’S PARADISE IN THE OF FOREST OF FONTAINEBLEAU BUT JUST 45 MINUTES FROM PARIS

Something for everybody, walking, horse riding, bouldering, tennis canoeing,  arts and culture and gastronomy.

This former hunting lodge is surrounded by 25.000 hectacres of spectacular forest. It's the  ideal retreat for nature lovers and walkers. It is within easy reach by foot or by car of the some of the best bouldering sites in Europe. Moreover we have  two well behaved horses which you can ride in the forest.  In the grounds we also have a tennis court, a small swimming pool as well as a BBQ, a table which seats 12 and  comfortable chairs for lounging.

The area is steeped in history.  Close bye there are magnificent chateaux to visit, market towns to explore and Barbizon, the village of the impressionists is just down the road.

Fancy a break from the nature?  For a day in Paris, hop on a train at Fontainebleau and find your self in the City of Lights, in just 43 minutes.

A FAMILY HOUSE WITH A HISTORY AND ULTRA FAST WIFI

This is a rustic hunting lodge which has been in our family many years and is still regularly used by us, so please do not expect a characterless Airbnb property which is purpose built and decorated for rentals. 

Do not expect electric gates, marble tiles and gold taps. However it is clean and comfortable and has two WIFI lines! Making it ideal for digital nomads.

There are two open fireplaces for use in winter and a BBQ for the summer. The dining room seats 18. Whilst we want our guests to enjoy themselves this is not a party house. Our guests and neighbours come to enjoy the nature and the peace and quiet of the forest.
